A point of web2.0 (論點 web2.0)

spotplex.com이 새롭게 디자인이 바뀌면서 몇몇 새로운 기능이 추가되었다.

블로그 포스트에 대한 리퍼 데이터의 표출과 회원 시스템과 그에 따른 코멘트/북마크 기능을 추가하였다.

특히 코멘트 부분은 digg.com의 대표적 기능에 하나인 코멘트 부분과 비교될 수 있지 않을까 싶다.

디자인은 world blogger들을 대상으로 해서 그런지 역시 국내 메타 사이트들과는 확연한 차이를 보인다.

특히 "Spot Tags of the Day" 부분은

Netscape.com의 "Netscape Anchors Recommend…", allbolg.net의 "인기태그로 보는 블로고스피어" 등

보다 눈에 잘뛰며 특징적이다.

좀더 많은 글로벌한 웹서비스들이 인터넷 강국(?) 대한민국에서 나오길 바라며...

은근히 이렇게 spotplex.com이 digg.com와 비교되는 또는 경쟁자(Competitor)로 비춰지는 모습이 보이는데, 그 무엇이거든 각자의 나름대로 특징이 분명하니 그것을 쭉 지켜나갔으면 합니다.

그간 spotplex.com이 티스토리등의  일부 블로그가 등록이 않된다는 정보(http://hannim.net/wp/2007/03/get_my_spotplex_code/)가 있었는데, 이제는 초대장과 같은 역활을 한 PassCode시스템이 사라지고 바로 자신의 블로그 주소를 넣어서 코드를 받을 수가 있네여.

그래서 코드를 받고 돌려본 결과 눈에 띄는 몇몇가지의 업데이트된 점이 보이네요.

우선 "Popular articles"쪽에서 Relative와 Absolute로 분활된 하위메뉴가 보이네여.
Absolute는 referez.com으로부터 지켜온 개념이고요, Relative는 상단의 Help를 뒤져보니

"The relative popularity measures how much more traffic an article received compared to normal traffic level of the site. The age of the article is also considered in the calculation. "

라고 설명이 나옵니다.

그리고 오른쪽도 두개의 메뉴로 분활되어 Getting Hotter라는 것이 새롭게 보이네요.
이 Getting Hotter의 의미는 아직 못찾았구요...;;

무엇보다 내블로그 코드페이지의 그래프가 어설프고 어정쩡한 모습에서 플래쉬로 코딩된 그래프로 교되었구 개별 카운트를 볼수가 있네여.

TechCrunch의 코드페이지를 보면
정말 왜 "..TechCrunch..TechCrunch.."하는지 알겠드라구요. 그래프만 봐도요...

 

흠.. 전반적으로 특정 블로그의 지면장악, 즉 우려했던 "빈익빈부익부" 현상에 대한 대처 노력으로 보입니다.

이제 저를 봐서는 티스토리도 되니 많이 달아보아용^^*

referez.com(리퍼러 수집정보로 만드는 북마크 랭킹 :: referez.com)을
지금 방문해보면 아래의 문구가 보인다.

그래서 spotplex.com을 방문해 보면
처음 눈에 띄는 것이 "마이클 애링턴의 techcrunch" 글들이 보인다.

원인은 techcrunch에 spotplex.com에 관한 글이 올라온것으로 보인다.
그리고 spotplex.com의 코드를 단것으로 보인다.
즉 기본원리가 기존의 referez.com과 같은 시스템으로 이제 정식으로 spotplex.com이라는
이름으로 월드서비스가 시작된것이다.


기존의 referez.com의 조금은 단순한 인터페이스의 구성이 아닌

1.시간대 별 popular articles 구성(슬라이드 바)
2.카테고리 구성
3.48개국어의 언어
4.위젯(get widget)
........
.........

정말 기존의 referez.com인가 싶을 정도이다. 확 바뀌었다.

그런데 기본원리가 해당 블로그가 특정의 코드만 자기 홈페이지에 삽입하면
누군가 방문하면 그것이 수집되고 digg.com처럼 자연스러운 social voting이 된다는 것이다.기존의  referez.com처럼.


좀더 자세한 정보를 아직은 한국에서는 찾아볼수 가 없다.
무시못할석2님의 블로그 및 몽양부활님의 블로그이외에는...

아마도 2007년 3월1일부로 오픈되어서 그런듯한데...
이미 techcrunch에는 많은 찬반의 의견이 쏫아지고 있다.

"digg보다 낫다!...digg가 최고다!..."등등

이러다보니 digg에서도 spotplex.com을 찾을 수 있는데 여기도 논쟁 중인듯하다.

무엇보다도 한국인 만든 싸이트로 전세계인이 top class 웹2.0사이트인 digg.com과 비교해 논재한다는것이 자랑스럽기도하고 신기하기도 하다. 아마도 기존에 우리가 인터넷/IT 강국임에도(?) 그에 명성에 걸맞는 콘텐츠,웹서비스는 없었다는데 우리가 너무 익숙해있었다는 증거이기도 하다.


그래서 그랬을까?
referez.com의 시작 태동부터 그들(imohany, hhje22)은 인터페이스문구들이 영문이였다.

무섭게도 전략적인 것은 또 2006년10월 초경 오픈한것으로 기억하는데 그후 특별한 움직임없이 spotplex.com이라는 정식 버젼을 준비했다는 것.

요즘 보통 우리네 웹사이트들은 마치 게임 오픈하듯이 오픈과 동시에 "오픈이벤트"등등 광고에 좀더 중점을 두는데 말이다.


여기서 궁금한것은 그들이 누구인가이다....

정말 위험하고도 무모하고도 대단한 도전이다.
"korean이 world서비스에 도전한다?"


잠시 좀더 우리네 웹서비스를 돌아보면

요즘은 동영상 UCC가 대세인데, 동영상 UCC이 곧 웹2.0이고 돈을 버는 수단인데... 그것이 우리식 웹서비스라면 아주 슬픈것은 나만일까?

유행은 웹서비스에도 있다. 그러나 도전과 모험 역시 웹서비스에도 있다.

우리에게 또 referez.com(이제는 spotplex.com)과 같은 도전과 모험 정신으로 우리네 웹서비스에서는 비주류인듯한 웹서비스 제공자들이 더 많아지기를...
